Kindergarten and Spanish teacher (I teach Spanish to all the Pre K 4 classes, Transitional Kindergarten classes and Kindergarten.)

I have been married to my husband Mark for the past 15 years and we have two boys Nico and Thomas. Kingwood has been my home on and off the past 30 years. Some of my primary and all of my secondary education was completed in Kingwood. In addition, I am proud to be a graduate of Kingwood High School. I graduated from University of Houston in 1993 and in 2007 I completed my Master Degree in Education with a core in Reading Specialist from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

My favorite place to be is in Italy by the ocean. I love my family. My other favorites include: books, tulips, music, and lets not forget my shoes!  When at home, I enjoy cooking for my family. I get a real kick when they ask for seconds.

Reading to your child can open their imagination to another world. It doesn’t matter how young or how old or in what language. Take some time each day to hang out and read.
