I've been teaching Pre-K for 27 years.  I started when my girls were in Pre-K and have enjoyed it ever since.  Young children are so rewarding, I have loved every day since--well almost every day.  I worked in Calif. at Camp Pendleton Marine Base, here, at Good Shepherd, then on the Hawaii, where I taught  from a mobile pre-school.  I had a van and an assistant and we took pre-school to the housing areas at Kaneohe Marine Base.  That meant that we were outside with the beautiful ocean in our view.  I taught in Virginia, and became the director of a private Pre-School.  Taught in Pennsylvania, in Dillsburg, where they drop a giant ice dill pickle at New Years.  Back to Virginia and then back here to Good Shepherd.  Teaching pre-K can be a very portable job.
