Older 2's on T/TH & 3,4&5's on Fri

This is my first year, but I hope to have many more.  

I am married with 2 children...Tanner 8 & Graci 6.  I have a dog that we rescued about a year ago by the name of Rocky.  He is a pitbull/bull mastiff mix.  He is 7 years old.  I grew up in Western New York...the Rochester area.  My husband, son, and I moved here in Sept. 2001.  I have been a stay at home Mom since we moved until becoming an MDO Aide this past fall.  Both my children attended Good Shepherd School.  I was very fortunate that I was able to be home with my children in more ways than one.  My son, Tanner, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes just after his 4th Birthday.  He has now been insulin dependent for 4 years.  The biggest lesson that I have learned from his diagnoses is that I will never take anything for granted again.  Anything can happen at any moment and that is how I live...in the moment.

My favorite color is green, fav flower is a red rose, hobbies...spending time with my friends and family, interests...I like sports of all kinds, web surfing, reading, and learning new things.

I enjoy what I do, and I feel very blessed to be able to spend my days with such wonderful people...both the children and the staff at Good Shepherd.
